The World Soybean Research Conference 2027 was presented at the Rural Society of Palermo.
The event will take place from April 4 to 7, 2027 at the Rosario Board of Trade and will bring together researchers, specialists and leaders from the soybean chain from more than 80 countries..
Within the framework of the 138th Rural Exhibition of Palermo, the XII World Soybean Research Conference (WSRC XII) was officially presented, the main world meeting dedicated to research, innovation and development of the soybean chain, which will take place from April 4 to 7, 2027 at the Rosario Board of Trade, under the motto "Building innovations in the universe of soybeans".
The presentation took place at the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Nation´s booth and was led by the president of the Argentine Soybean Chain Association (ACSOJA) and of the Conference Organizing Committee, Rodolfo Rossi, together with the Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Nation, Sergio Iraeta.
During the presentation, Iraeta emphasized the importance of soybeans to the country and expressed his appreciation that Argentina had once again been chosen to host the event. "It's unnecessary to clarify what we're talking about when we talk about soybeans in argentina and what they represent in terms of their global presence. It's a source of pride for soybean farmers, for the residents of Rosario, who will have the responsibility of hosting this conference, and for all Argentinians," the official stated.
He also expressed his confidence in the success of the event: "I simply want to congratulate you and encourage you to make this Conference next year, as I have no doubt it will be, a true success."
